Email Governance – Platinum is a ServiceNow platform-based custom application created to monitor, govern, and allow or deny emails sent from ServiceNow to unauthorized email domains.
We have to define authorized email domains. If any email address is found which is not defined in the authorized domain list, then an alert will be sent to the email governance team for approval. If the governance team approves the email notification, then the email will be sent to the unauthorized domain.
If the governance team rejects the approval for the unauthorized domain, then that specific email will be sent only to authorized email domains available in the To, CC, or BCC email address.
